The device delivers repeatable measurements accurate to ±0.05°C over its full operating range of -50°C to 160°C (-58°F to 320°F).
Key capabilities include ATEX and IECEx compliance for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, making it suitable for processing plants and hazardous locations. The stainless steel probe and digital readout are calibrated as a fixed system with a large backlit LCD display that rotates 90 degrees for easy viewing from any angle.
Features include a user-configurable stability/trend indicator showing when temperature is stable for accurate recording, selectable temperature resolution, and extended battery life of approximately 300 hours with auto-off functionality. The device supports three-point calibration with NVLAP accreditation and NIST-traceable calibration included.
The DL variant adds data logging capability, storing up to 10,000 time-stamped readings with selectable logging intervals.
Typical applications encompass daily verification of working thermometers, custody transfer temperature determination, PET and LIG calibration, and temperature transmitter calibration.
