Fluke 1551A-9 Stik Thermometer & Temperature Calibrator

An intrinsically-safe battery operated portable reference thermometer designed for temperature measurement and calibration in industrial environments. The device measures temperature ranges from -50°C to 160°C (-58°F to 320°F) with accuracy of ±0.05°C (±0.09°F) across the full measurement range.

The Fluke 1551A features intrinsically-safe operation compliant with ATEX and IECEx standards, making it suitable for environments where potentially explosive gases may be present. The stainless steel probe and digital readout are fixed together and calibrated as a unified system.

Key operational features include a large backlit LCD display that rotates 90 degrees for easy viewing from multiple angles. A user-configurable stability/trend indicator shows when temperature measurements are stable enough to record. The device offers user-selectable temperature resolution (0.1, 0.01, or 0.001) and sample rates (0.5, 1, or 2 seconds).

Battery-powered operation with approximately 300 hours of continuous runtime. User-settable auto-off function (1-30 minutes selectable) extends battery life. Low-battery indicator and stop-measure function prevent erroneous readings.

Applications include daily checks of working thermometers, custody transfer temperature determination, PET calibration, LIG calibration, and temperature transmitter calibration and verification. Simple three-point calibration function allows easy field calibration. Includes NVLAP-accreditation and NIST-traceable calibration report.
