Fluke Calibration 9142-A-256 Field Metrology Well

A precision industrial temperature calibration instrument designed for field applications. The Field Metrology Well combines portability with metrology performance, weighing less than 18 pounds with a small footprint.

Key capabilities include calibration of 4-20 mA transmitters, thermostatic switches, comparison calibrations, and thermocouple sensors. The process version features built-in two-channel thermometer readout measuring PRTs, RTDs, thermocouples, and 4-20 mA transmitters with integrated 24V loop power supply.

The instrument incorporates gradient-temperature compensation technology ensuring stable performance in unstable field environments. Automated thermostatic switch test procedures include both auto and manual setup modes with 3-cycle calibration capability.

On-board non-volatile memory documents up to 20 tests, recording block temperature, reference temperature, UUT values, error, date, and time. Large LCD display with function keys and menu navigation provides intuitive operation.

Design emphasizes six key metrology criteria: accuracy, stability, axial uniformity, radial uniformity, loading effects, and hysteresis. All Field Metrology Wells include IEC-17025 NVLAP-accredited calibration certificates backed by robust uncertainty analysis.

Specifications guarantee performance over 13°C to 33°C environmental range. Operating conditions extend to 0°C to 50°C with 0% to 90% relative humidity non-condensing. Heating time from 23°C to 150°C requires 23 minutes; cooling from 150°C to –25°C takes 25 minutes.
