Fluke Calibration 9144-A-256 Metrology Well

A portable metrology well designed for field temperature calibration applications covering 50°C to 660°C. The instrument provides reference thermometry with exceptional accuracy and stability while maintaining a compact, transportable design.

The device calibrates 4-20 mA transmitters, RTDs, thermocouples, and temperature switches. Its built-in two-channel readout measures pressure, resistance, voltage, and milliamp signals simultaneously, eliminating the need for carrying multiple instruments to field sites.

Designed to meet six EA performance criteria: accuracy, stability, axial uniformity, radial uniformity, loading effects, and hysteresis. Specifications include display accuracy ranging from ±0.35°C at 50°C to ±0.5°C at 660°C, with stability to ±0.05°C at maximum temperature.

Onboard non-volatile memory stores up to 20 test records with alphanumeric IDs, block temperature, reference temperature, UUT values, error data, date, and time. Results export via Model 9930 Interface-it software.

Gradient-temperature compensation ensures stable operation in variable field environments. Rapid heating (15 minutes to reach 660°C) and dual-zone control provide axial uniformity to ±0.05°C at 40mm depth.
