Fluke Calibration 9144-A-P-256 Metrology Well

This field metrology well combines portability with precision for industrial temperature sensor calibration. Weighing under 8.2 kg, it delivers metrology performance across six key criteria: accuracy, stability, axial uniformity, radial uniformity, loading effects, and hysteresis.

Two-channel measurement supports PRT reference probes, RTD sensors, thermocouple inputs (Types J, K, T, E, R, S, M, L, U, N, C), and 4-20 mA transmitters with 24V loop power. On-board non-volatile memory stores up to 20 test records with alphanumeric IDs, block temperature, reference temperature, UUT values, error data, date, and time.

Reference thermometer readout accuracy ranges from ±0.010°C at -25°C to ±0.070°C at 660°C. Display accuracy: ±0.35°C at 50°C and 420°C; ±0.5°C at 660°C. Stability: ±0.03°C at 50°C, ±0.05°C at 660°C. Axial uniformity at 40mm depth: ±0.05°C at 50°C, ±0.5°C at 660°C. Radial uniformity: ±0.02°C at 50°C to ±0.10°C at 660°C.

Rapid temperature changes with 15-minute heating (50°C to 660°C) and 35-minute cooling (660°C to 50°C). Built-in gradient-temperature compensation ensures stable performance in unstable field environments. Dual-zone control technology guarantees consistent results across temperature extremes.

Automated thermostatic switch testing via auto or manual setup procedures. Auto mode requires only nominal switch temperature entry and runs 3-cycle calibration. Manual mode allows custom ramp rates and cycle numbers. IEC-17025 NVLAP-accredited calibration included; backed by 4:1 test uncertainty ratio.

Includes users manual, technical manual on CD, serial cable, calibration report, test leads, insert removal tool, and 6-pin DIN connector for reference probe. RS-232 interface enables computer integration; 1586A Super-DAQ automation available. Model 9930 Interface-it software (included) exports raw data to calibration reports or ASCII files.
