Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester

The Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester features FieldSense technology for measuring voltage and current without contacting live conductors. Unlike other fork testers that merely detect voltage, this unit makes actual measurements without touching a live metallic conductor. Slide the 17.8 mm open fork, the widest available in the industry, over a conductor and read simultaneous voltage and current values or simultaneous frequency and current values. The open fork accommodates wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2). Alternatively, use the attached test leads to measure voltage DC to 1000 V.

Key capabilities include True rms voltage and current to 200 A AC and 1000 V AC, and resistance measurement from 1 Ω to 100 kΩ.

For jobsite use, the HOLD button temporarily freezes readings on screen for continued work. The display features large easy-to-read numbers and backlight functionality for darker work environments or inside cabinets. The T6-1000 integrates with the Fluke TPACK ToolPak Magnetic Meter Hanger for increased convenience.

FieldSense technology differs from other open fork testers by interpreting a magnetic field to display AC current. FieldSense detects an electrical field that interacts with a T6 reference signal, showing voltage values on the display.
